After a 7 year break from brand advertising, we created Smithwick's first major TV campaign to run throughout the UK.
Our campaign stars a beer-making 'Smithwick's squirrel', who's learnt the skills to brew a pint from his home inside the brewery. It was also the launch ad for a new strapline for the 300-year old brand, 'Experience. It's what you do with it that counts'.
Alongside TV, we created an outdoor campaign, renamed pubs into "Thirsty Squirrel" around the UK for ale tasting events, and created our own range of pub snacks, aptly named "Squirrel nuts" to be paired perfectly with the flavours of Smithwicks Ale.
We even created an ancestors gallery of painted family portraits, of our squirrels furry Smithwicks brewing relatives.
