In 2022, we launched The Social Documentary Photography Awards, a bi-annual competition that awards cash prizes to professional and amateur documentary photographers in both single and series entries. Since launching the TPF Grant in 2021 in partnership with LIMI London, we launched the competition due to the high volume of amazing photographers who submitted their work. Through these awards, we want to highlight amazing photographers, show hidden realities and support emerging and established social documentary photographers, whilst raining money for the work we do at The Photography Foundation. We’re excited to be hosting our first exhibition to showcase the winners work at the Photobook Café – join us for an evening of networking and inspiration.
