solace | weijie is a project reflecting on and dissecting the trauma and dysphoria one faces through chronic illness and their recovery from it, as well as the hidden beauty within the strength of their experiences. Through the use of fabric manipulation and handcrafts such as crochet and beading, an ethereal and textured collection visually invokes the bodily changes while providing a soothing experience for the wearer's senses.
