“This new series explores manhood and young adulthood, reflecting on the intricate beauty of this transitional time when childhood and teenage years are left behind. Here I focus on my friend Achraf, whom l’ve known for more than 15 years, since he was an eight years old, a horse fanatic. I returned to Morocco in January and between the ocean, dunes, and abandoned castles in Achraf’s hometown, I worked intuitively to document his life and his unique relationship with horses.”
