SoulTrip Presents: A night of Neo-Soul, Afrobeat & RnB

A night of RnB, Neo-Soul, Afro-beat at Amersham Arms, featuring the incredible talents of SoulTrip, Yaz León, Blakk Lee and special support : Dele Sosimi X Medlar. These artists have graced renowned venues and festivals worldwide, and on Tuesday 19th of September 2023, they delivered their RnB, Neo-Soul, Afrobeat and Disco filled performances SoulTrip, a South London-based collective, is known for their soulful music, blending RnB and Jazz. SoulTrip's recent appearance at 'Good Vibrations Society' solidified their status as a force to be reckoned with, leaving a lasting impact on their audience. Whether it’s to address the matters of the heart or comment on the state of the world, their sound supports the message. Yaz León, a rising Neo-Soul singer from West London, has garnered support from BBC Introducing London and Robert Elms show. With her Spanish/Iraqi background and West London upbringing, Yaz's music is influenced by her heritage, community, and personal storytelling. Dele Sosimi, a Nigerian-British musician, songwriter, and bandleader, promotes the essence of afrobeat, a genre pioneered by mentor, Fela Kuti, by blending it with jazz, funk, and traditional Nigerian music. Medlar, known for his unique blend of techno, disco, and house music, has a successful career with releases on labels like 'For Discos Only' and 'Delusions of Grandeur'. Over DJ Medlar's Afrobeat, Deep House, and Amapiano sounds, Dele sings and plays live keys! crafting the 'Dele Sosimi's X Medlar' experience. With an inherent passion for music that flows through every beat, Blakk Lee has been captivating audiences and igniting dance floors like no other. With a musical journey that spans across continents and cultures, He plays, Soul, RnB, hip-hop, Afrobeats, amapiano and House!
