Years of headlining at festivals, a collection of records numbering in the thousands and a love for striking visuals presented in their trademark square format led Soulwax to create a unique 24-hour mix and package it as ‘Radio Soulwax’, an iApp which allows viewers to consume the music and visuals in bite-size 1 hour chunks.
It was a meticulous endeavour, and a true labour of love. Once the work was complete, Soulwax wanted to promote the new App with a unique film interpretation of the ethos behind the project.

‘Machine’ was storyboarded, then developed through CGI previsualisation where concepts were built upon and the camera move was finely tuned to indulge in the details and build up to ‘the reveal’.
All this fed into motion control for the shoot, timed according to the beat of the track. CGI bridged the gaps.
