Soundscape - Futuristic Concept - Graphic Design
Soundscape is a concept for an architecture and sound engineering project which I explore through graphic design. This project focuses on the conjunction of architecture and sound engineering to invent a building which manipulates its structural integrity to amplify and control defined resonance. Imagined to launch in 2030, the graphic design appeals to futurism and minimalism with a restricted colour palette and constructivist typography. Photography, structure and texture take precedence in my design application to create a sense of luxury and space.
This project allowed me to explore a variety of different layouts and a different kind of interplay between typography and imagery. I wanted the type to speak to the boldness of the strong structural lines of the photography used and so chose to imitate the strong form through a restrained type form.
