South Central loneliness.

  • Sarah Cotterell

On a lone travel trip to Central South America, one year in I found my self for the very first time feeling extremely lonely. At this point I became drastically ill, at the time I was heartbroken from a love lost, and I was completely disoriented in my journey. Leaving it to the last day of my visa I went to the airport in Bogota and picked a random flight to Panama. As emotions made its self known to my existance, I choose to reside in Boquete, the countries highlands to gain clarity, orient my self and create a newer brighter path. With my Minolta 55mm camera I have captured those heartfelt lonesome moments. These photographs depict my isolation and my experience of being subject to that energy, attracting lonesome locals and situation one the way.
