I made an audio documentary with Whistle Down Productions for BBC World Service.'Speaking Out' explores the global impact of Stop and Search powers through personal stories from around the world.We also hear from policy makers and reflections from Philonise Floyd, George Floyd brothers about the future of arbitrary criminal justice policies. A really important and timely conversation considering the UK Government's new crime plan which includes a permanent relaxation of Stop and Search powers, under which officers can search anyone – without suspicion.
