My Final design collection evolves around personal stories, possessions and memories in which I get a lot of my inspiration from. This project is based on a childhood toy of mine named ‘Ello’ in which you can build and create anything you can imagine. I wanted to use my toy as inspiration because it was this toy that first led me to realise how much I enjoyed designing and creating and I have great memories and attachment to it. I like to create work that means something or tells a story and can be relate-able to the person that comes into contact with it, therefore my childhood toy was a great way to express that idea of connection and emotion within my work.
