Staatliches Schulamt Brandenburg an der Havel Promotion

The main objective of this project was to design and illustrate a poster and series of postcards, that would call for a new workforce, especially teachers. A client’s brief proposed to illustrate the main building of an unremarkable architecture which would be accompanied by a short text. After reading the text, which beautifully described the values and goals of the educational authority and its employees, I suggested illustrating these mostly intangible concepts instead. I decided to break the composition of the poster into small images. These would be later built together into various combinations for postcards. The color palette was inspired by the coat of arms of all four districts covered by the educational authority. Client: Staatliches Schulamt Brandenburg an der Havel
