The European rhetoric takes for granted the current distribution of its territory, considering it as a fixed reality by no means susceptible to alteration. Therefore, it overlooks the existence of a significant amount of people that might be happy with the idea of being European but do not have a state to identify with, a state that represents their concerns. These people are the focus of this MA Graphic Design Major Project: the stateless nations, the nations that dream of a different future in an era where changing the borders is out of question and national sovereignty is not anymore a priority. These nations thus find in this project a way of expressing themselves and being acknowledged by an audience that did not know they existed.
