Briefing: Develop an accessory for the existing Double Decker household stepladder.
Concept: The Tooltray is a multifunctional plastic container (SmartBox) with an aluminium lid that holds various kinds of tools securely. Opening the lid creates a work surface that is large and strong enough to hold a 20-litre bucket of paint.
Result: Complementing the design of the Double Decker stepladder, the Tooltray increases its functionality by providing extra space at the working height and keeping tools organised in one place.
