The UK market is becoming more aware and more engaging with slow, sustainability fashion, most commonly presented by the countries and brands of Scandinavia. However, through research, I have found Danish fashion, in particular, hasn’t got a prominent, appreciated place within the UK. This project, therefore, communicates Danish womenswear designer Stine Goya to a UK market, breaking the stigma of traditional Scandinavian aesthetics and promoting the brand to a new audience. The photobook tells a story of the brand and its current collection whilst presenting the garments in a playful, elegant, cultural way.
