Drawings are not something I create very often. Usually it takes time and there is a specific creative process that allows them to come together.
Research.
When I get passionate about a subject, I spend time to reasearch it indepth.
It takes time, but one can go and immerse him/herself in the story of the subject.
Planning
Next phase is to plan everything at least from a perspective level. Write down the key ideas, requirements, the possibilities to implement those key ideas.
Techniques
In this step I usually look for how that subject can be represented. It might
be paper and carbon or it very can be Adobe Indesign. One has to fully understand his work’s tools.
Work
I get to work. I try to be consistent as much as I can. I like to be organised and work in steps. Each step should be built on the top of the previous one. Discipline and patience is everything.
