Photography has been a passion of mine for a couple of years now and although I'm still getting to grips with how to use a proper camera, I've been trying to make the effort to get out and take pictures more frequently. As part of this effort, I recently tagged along with Guardian and NGO photojournalist Andy Hall on one of his many street photography escapades through London's Square Mile. This area's not one I find myself in often but it's definitely interesting from a visual perspective; there are so many different people doing different things, from cleaners to bankers, and the juxtaposition of centuries-old buildings and brand new glass structures makes for a pretty cool photographic expedition. Though I finished a few rolls of film during the couple of hours we were out, there are only a few images that I feel happy to share. I hear this is typical for even the most seasoned of photographers but I'm pretty sure it's more likely due to me being a bit shit. Anyway, have a look below.
