Once I decided to present artists and now I open STUDIOS in LADIES DRAWING CLÜB - video stories by artists and about them just right in studios.
First STUDIO is about Lola Dement Myers who was selected in LADIES DRAWING CLÜB during Call for Art#7. Lola is a young artist from Chicago (USA) who mostly works with ceramics. She tells her background story and how she decided to become an artist. Lola sheds light on the conceptual narratives of her work that have to do with identity through digital outputs. She talks about living in these two worlds, growing up on the Internet, creating objects that she wants, internet, COVID, memories, surveillance, privacy and how to be LO-LA.
It is the new experience with video medium and really open conversation with artist. Video opens the door to the artists life. And studio is a place where everyone would love to be once. For us it’s a very honest and super personal artists story what we are in love.
