Subterranean Sounds: A Sage Sounds and EMS project

A project ran by myself and Sage Sounds in collaboration with UEA's very own EMS to host a series of underground music events for Norwich's nightlife. Carrying out a research project the year before we discovered talking to one of the gatekeepers for the town's electronic music scene that many nights within the area are being pushed out to make way for student club nights and bigger budget events, meaning undergound nights either lost traction and quit or have begun to embark in private parties. It was our job to look into what we could do to bring some life back into the scene again and create a succesful and enjoyable event for lesser known artists to gain recognition. To be successful as we were with this, this project involved countless market research to discover what worked in terms of venue's and marketing and invloved lots of skills to be learned and utilised within the production including: Branding. Artist research and liason. Booking. Venue scouting and hire. Campaign strategising and production. Graphic Design and Illustration. Content Creation. Filming and Video editing Advertising. Social Media promotion. Promotion. & More.
