Suburban Jungle

Suburban Jungle is a collection of embroidered and manipulated fabrics inspired by the willingness of nature. I have been looking at the way humans have urbanised the Earth and the power of nature, how even in the most developed cities plants still work their way in. I aimed to capture this organic development of growth through various techniques, including CAD embroidery, Laser cutting, embellishment, hand and Irish embroidery as well as continuing to develop my surface manipulation and construction techniques.
