Surfaces project

During this project I chose to look at crocodile skin and its use in the fashion industry. From that I started to research poaching and how prominent it still is today in fashion. From that i started getting inspired by the grossness of this massacre by doing fabric manipulations to replicate guts and blood in order to represent the bloodshed of poaching. Inspired by the Schiaparelli runway looks with giant animal heads and classic silhouettes I have started to create my final garment.
