Surreal Distortion (personal photography project)

"What happened to me, he thought. It was no dream," Franz Kafka, Metamorphosis The blend of the absurd, the surreal and the mundane; a Kafkaesque transformation. The human condition is absurd. There is no meaning to make sense of our lives. On the contrary, this meaninglessness spurs us on to find whatever meanings we see fit. We undergo changes, we translate, rotate, reflect and dilate in order to understand our lives, yet perhaps there is nothing to understand. Our transformations are never ending. This photographic narrative takes us through a transformation. What appears to be a person, on closer inspection is many, with multiple faces and multiple projections. The possibilities are endless and totally meaningless, but as the viewer and as humans, we will still search for a meaning, despite one never having been created.
