In collaboration with NEXTEVO, a Singaporean company focused on the sustainable production of pineapple leaf fibre (PALF). This project studies the historical use of Pineapple fibre weaving in the Philippines during the 19th century and explores the materials characteristics and dye permeability using natural dyes. Materials/Process: Pineapple leaf fibre/cotton blend yarn on a silk warp. Entirely hand dyed using natural dyes such as Annatto, Logwood, Brazilwood and indigo
