I was profoundly affected in Rome by my experiences which included colours of buildings, ancient ruined buildings, old weathered walls with graffiti on, the heat in Summer, and the sumptuous dynamic Baroque paintings seen in the different churches. I drew, took notes and photographed in Rome. All this information I have used to make my Rome based paintings.
