Creative collaborators and /ALIGN co-founders Katarina Rimarcikova and Amanda Johnston will welcome their very special guest speaker, the wonderful Caryn Franklin and together they will explore how can we can use psychology for better and healthier lives and fashion futures.
They will discuss our current fashion industry landscape, its obsession with narrow views of beauty and lack of diversity, along with the recent surfacing of the abuse of power dynamics within the industry. Fashion is responsible for the creation of pervasive seductive imagery, now powered by technology, and this culture is affecting and shaping our mental health and wellbeing.Join them for an incisive examination of aspects of fashion culture, human behaviour and psychology - exploring the complex and fascinating relationship we have with fashion as professionals and consumers.
