Talking to Me - Music Video

Talking to Me is a low budget music video shot across Cornwall for the ska-rock band Land of the Giants. Having headlined Plymouth Pavilions to over 1000 people in 2019, LOTG came to me interested in an abstract and challenging concept of a woman who is overwhelmed my the capitalist nature of our society. A particular challenge in this video was shooting and editing the scenes of a car being driven off a cliff and into the sea on a micro-budget. Rame Head coastguard allowed my cast and crew entry to the area and a variety of trickery was used to ensure the quality of the final outcome. Significant location scouting was conducted prior to shooting in order to optimise the budget, and finding an indoor swimming pool from a local resident allowed control over the lighting and shooting of the underwater scenes (despite it being freezing cold, sorry Amanda!).
