As the global footwear consumption is projected to grow by more than 5% per year and reach 40 billion pairs in 2025, a bio-degradable footwear range plan is proposed for the lifestyle, premium brand Ted Baker.
Ted Baker has been well-known for their unique and distinctive floral prints. For the A/W 2018/2019 the women’s footwear range plan prints are inspired by Victorian botanical illustrations. The prints reminisce about the bygone era, but combined with a contemporary shoe design embrace the Ted Baker brand identity.
The bio-degradable Botany footwear range entirely consists of bio-based materials and offers a long-term solution to landfill pollution. The materials that provide a more sustainable choice for Ted Baker footwear, include Pinatex, a natural textile made from pineapple leaf fiber, synthetic silk biopolymers, a replication of natural silk, organic cotton and castor oil.
