Television by Samuel Hicks

“I’m sorting through prints today and thought I'd share my Television series. I wanted to create a conceptual project and developed the idea of showing a TV playing scenes from some of my favourite movies. Can you guess what films are playing? 😊 I shot the series with a friend. We linked a DVD player to the TV and ran them off a small generator. It was hard work carrying it up onto Nunhead Reservoir, back when you could climb through a hole in the fence. The prints have done well over the years and sold as far away as Hong Kong.”
