Temporary Autonomous Arts Cardiff

Staged in disused buildings, TAA's aim is to create an experimental, radical, actively creative, free and safe social space. TAA utilises DIY culture tactics to create space for art and expression outside of the established art world. The events provide space to allow the public to create and play with new ideas, whether independently or as group workshops. TAA addresses the need for free spaces which are not governed by commercial interests or exclusive institutional standards, creating a fluid space which transforms in unpredictable ways throughout the event as new interventions and responses are added to the mix. Expect the TAA experience to be slightly chaotic, full of surprising juxtapositions, and an opportunity to generate new collaborative relationships.
