For this project, the use of thermochromic colors has been employed, not to print the patterns but for the 3-dimensional coating in some of the motives of the pattern. The 3-dimensional surface changes color when heated, both by touch or by the body. The pattern has been screen printed on milk fiber, a lightweight, and eco-friendly material, and used for the realization of a kimono top. Whenever the activation temperature is reached, the full pattern is visible, either around the whole piece or just in the parts that have been activated.
