TEST SHOOT : BEAUTY PROJECT
I am currently working on a beauty project and here is my test shoot from yesterday. I love the whole beauty idea of making someone feel sophisticated and glamorous with simply just one product: MAC red lipstick. I have been moodboarding and planning for about 2 months maybe a little longer which has given me time to prepare. I had to make sure I had my model in place, MAC lipstick, the exact lighting I wanted etc for my test shoot.
You can see that I have even experimented with gels over the lights which is giving the background a soft pink effect.
Again this shoot took place in a studio. I used a beauty dish for the key light, a light for the back-light and a light for the fill light.
I also used blacked out V-Flats to create shadows and highlights across my models face and neck because It really makes her eyebrows and lips stand out. These are the features I wanted to really exaggerate!
