teva rebrand

teva's visual presence was in shambles with every one of their 60+ communication offices worldwide doing whatever they thought was right for the need and moment. i was asked to produce a styleguide, but not touch the logo, designed in 1985 by renowned designer dan reisinger. the solution was to put the logo within a square, and build a visual language that was optimistic and vibrant (as opposed to the obligatory pharmaceutical labcoat look & feel). from there the visual language evolved, brought the brand together and had a nice 10 year run until recently changed to, well, you'll have to judge for yourself.
