Thanks for the polaroid, babe

A publication and collection of experimental photographs exploring the juxtaposition between destruction and beauty. In this very personal project, old polaroid photographs reminiscing of an ended relationship were destroyed in an attempt to eliminate bittersweet memories. The polaroids were frozen, burnt, scratched, microwaved, cut open, painted over and exposed to chemicals such as bleach. The way in which the photographs were destroyed connects to the memory attached to each image.
