The 28 Day Cycle Project

  • Alex Burke
I was asked to create a poster for a charity of my choice. I chose #TheHomelessPeriod — with limited or no access to sanitary products homeless women are often forced to go without. This initiative believe that tampons and towels should be made available through homeless shelters, the same way the government provides condoms.

The 28 Day Cycle Project aims to raise awareness as well as collect donations. Across London, 28 'homeless' calendar dates scattered around for people to donate and for homeless women to collect. At the end of the cycle, all 28 dates will be housed back into the calendar.
