The Body as Substance 2018

This was a series created for an Exhibition at The University of Lincoln in 2018. The Body as Substance uses digital manipulation, here you will see a human body in a way you've never seen it before. The body is familiar to us, but the use digital manipulation makes it strangely familiar...perhaps uncanny. Most of my inspiration for these pieces came for Sigmund Freud and his book, 'The Uncanny'.
