The BottleKicking

A strange English tradition in Leicestershire where two villages, Hallaton and Medbourne where they wrestle and battle over a wooden beer barrel. The preparation for this event is a long march around the village with a beautiful hare pie, where they later throw hand fulls of it into the marching crowd! The Aim of this sport is to take the Barrel to the respective villages side of the river where its chaos and smashing of bodies.
