The project was completed in a response to a commission from emerging poet Raheem Simms. His poem 'Lost Boys' explores the multi cultural identity of himself.
I took a series of portrait shots of the subject to represent the idea of him emerging from the shadows of Brixton to become the man he is today. The hard lighting created the dramatic effect desired that complimented the idea behind the poem.
