The British Directors Series is a proposed exhibition series for the V&A that will celebrate and commemorate the works of six selected directors: Ridley Scott, Tom Hooper, Christopher Nolan, Danny Boyle, Sam Mendes and Edgar Wright.
To accompany the presented exhibition design, posters have been created for each show, as well as more detailed accompaniments for Ridley Scott. The fold-out catalogue and smaller exhibition booklet hold information about both Scott and the show, with the catalogue acting as a piece of memorabilia; this is shown through the exhibition poster being printed on the other side. The angle-design references Voroni’s tessellation and is a running theme throughout both editorial pieces and the exhibition space itself.
