ABOUT THE CALLING
The Calling is a fantasy-drama film about a girl who gets pulled into a world
where she discovers she is both a threat and a saviour.
Directors Notes:
“When I wrote this short I actually wanted to create something much more
epic in vision and scale, however, since my sources were extremely limited
at the of production (2014/15) I had to cut back on alot of ideas I had, but,
in the end I was able to finish with something I feel satisfied with. It was a
real pleasure working with Lincia again, who was also the producer my last
short film Escape (2014) and ofcourse my amazing cast and crew. I hope
you enjoy this short and I hope it inspires someone out there to go out really
try to bring their idea to life. Also I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to
every body who contributed to my short film.”
