The Chair (2021)

Sara and Earklow (Ear for short) move into an apartment together to start a new chapter in their lives. Whilst attempting to cling on to a fantasy of what their relationship once was, an ominous presence leads them to question their sanity: Sara becomes enraptured by the mysterious entity which resides inside an old armchair left by the previous tenants. It catches hold of her mind and she is soon at risk of fading away entirely. Ear is increasingly alienated from this bond that evolves between his wife and this chair. However, he fails to acknowledge the gravity of the situation, at both of their risks.
