OVERVIEW
We were approached by Marketing Foods to design and deliver the fresh new online space for Chiltern Brewery. We initially designed this and picked up the build at a later stage after a series of unfortunate events that happened this year. We were glad to have the project back in our hands so we could finish the job we once started.
BREWING A PLAN
Chiltern Brewery serve fine draught and bottled beers with hand picked local items for sale on the shop. We were approached to design the new online ecommerce store and build an intuitive management system for the team to easily update products and content.The brief came from Marketing Foods with an array of lovely photography of the building, bottles and the Chiltern Hills surroundings. Our focus from the brief was to have interchangeable panels on the homepage that can be updated easily depending on season and whats new.We delivered a freshly poured ecommerce site sitting on Wordpress WooCommerce as the foundation, the flexibility and familiarity this provided gave us great customisability power.

Pushing the boundaries of the brief we designed and built a solid online shop for Chiltern Brewery with a unique look and feel becoming the benchmark of all other breweries.

HOW WE MADE IT BETTER
The site went through a few development stages, we picked this back up from another company where we reviewed the code and decided that its more efficient and cost effective to start again, delivering closer to original design specification.
WHAT WE LEARNED
Working closely with Marketing Foods to deliver Chiltern Brewery has been fantastic, we had to start the development from scratch which is not always the best thing to hear. We’ve learnt a lot about the flexibility and power of WordPress / WooCommerce as a solution in the building of this project.
