The Country Doctor

Fleeing the shame of his failure at medical school in Moscow, a young man escapes to the cold isolation of the Russian countryside. Here, he happens upon a lonely medical surgery. A peculiar cohort of nurses and surgeons take him in to be their new head doctor; a position he freely embraces despite his lack of qualifications. How long will he survive in the country before his failure in the city catches up with him? Inspired by Mikhail Bulgakov, Noctium takes you into a world of gruesome operations and bizarre comedy set deep in the tundra of the Russian countryside.
