Born in Paris in 1982, Olivia Merilahti is a Finnish-French musician and composer. Originally a student of classical music, Merilahti met musician Dan Levy in 2004 whilst writing the music for the film Empire of the Wolves. The duo went on to form their band, The Dø, of which Merilahti is the frontwoman. The Dø are based in Paris and their studio is located in Normandy, in an 18th century water tower.
