The Creators Project
Welcome to Season 1 of The Creators Project. A series about cool people that do interesting things, and the ups and downs of building a life and career in the creative space. As a filmmaker and photographer, I am often fascinated with the creative process of others - this series is a journey into that world.
Angie McMahon is a 25 year old singer/songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. I've worked on a few projects with Angie in the past year and have had the pleasure of getting to know her a little. As well as being an insanely talented artist, she's also one of the most interesting creative minds I know.
This is an honest, raw and real chat with Angie that touches on her struggles in creativity and her love of making connections through music. Filmed at the band's Airbnb in Highbury, North London whilst in town for a European tour.
Isaac is a singer/songwriter and music producer based in London, UK. This was shot in Isaac's home studio at his flat in North London. Isaac is 19 years old, which is crazy to think because he has such a wise head on his shoulders and has been working in music for years already.
I'm grateful to have been a small part of his journey already. This is an honest, raw conversation about Isaac's struggles in creativity, personal branding and focus. It felt like a very timely conversation, as he continues to work on carving his path in the industry.
Jade Sarkhel is an award winning food photographer and runs a creative agency. At the time of filming this, she was based out of London but has recently moved to work remotely in Bali. Such a chilled, humble and creatively driven person, I hope you enjoy this chat.
