The Design Garden

  • Annelise Keestra
The Design Garden was a digital exhibition designed as a place for people to gather, meet and start conversations, during the Look Upstairs lectures, as part of the Melbourne International Design Week. The exhibition consisted on various chapters such as design awards, the Mandela poster project, Look Upstairs lecturer's projects, D&AD pencil winners, 'Design matters', etc.

The project, undertook during my internship at Local Peoples (Melbourne, Au), gave me the opportunity to position myself as a Project Manager, on top of my role as a designer. The curation and final artwork delivery of the Design Garden has been executed under directions of Creative Director Giuseppe Demaio, and with the great help of Meg Penfold, Elliot Hutchinson, Will Devereux and Hayden Daniel, as well as The Design Foundation and Cato Brand Partners.
