The Faces of Womenhood

International Women's month is about to end and before it does I wanted to share some of my recent work with model Kate Yvette Saunders. The photos were taken for a project launched by Take More Photos called "The Faces of Womanhood". As a female photographer, whenever I'm photographing women I want to make sure that they're shown in the best light possible. So many of the images that we see in the media are directed by and through the male gaze.
