The Farm: A Visual Essay

The Farm is a chiefly visual project that attempts to capture the tapestry and apparent paradoxes of an urban "farm". A space of little farming, it is an eclectic and unofficial sanctuary for humans and non-humans alike, tucked into an ecosystem that labels it a strain. The farm resides on the borders of Cape Town's metropolis and provides a home for the disenfranchised and disregarded.
