The fastest cyclist on Earth

Denise Mueller-Korenek attempted to become the fastest human on a bicycle. On September 16, 2018, she pedalled to nearly 184mph. The record took place on the Bonneville Salt Flats International Speedway on the border between Utah and Nevada, USA. I was awarded in the Creative Review photography Annual 2018 for this project. Commissioned to creative an archive of high quality imagery for Editorial use, Sponsor promotion and Social Media. During the 7 day event I was the Social Media Manager, directing Video Live stream updates, and continuous updates on progression through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Liaising with Public Relations for the release of imagery immediately after the record was broken, using remote upload and FTP wire to news desks worldwide. The imagery has been posted in 380 articles including TV, Print, Newspress and digital, worldwide.
