The Focus Brunch Campaign

Goal: Introduce followers to an upcoming brunch event for young women with a panel of creative female panellists and invite guests through social media platforms. Challenge: There was a limited budget to ensure that our posts reached as much individuals so that they are informed about the opportunities that are available at PursueYourPassion. Process: I realised that the best way to maximise social media reach was to pay for promotion on Instagram which would lead to more profile visits resulting in more people seeing the events flyer on our page. The use of hashtags are essential in social media to create outreach, after researching popular hashtags used for other networking events similar to this one I used #’s such as #networking which is popular on Instagram to gain more profile visits. Outcome: My active role in this campaign meant that the flyer had reached over 400 instagram users and that the event sold out leading to a successful brunch!
