The Girls

  • María Millan
“The Girls” is a story about two teenage sisters living in isolation, never leaving their home because of their over-protective parents. The girls are confined to a desolate country estate that could very well be on another planet. It’s almost a palace, an enormous mansion where they’re home-schooled and taught that the outside world is dangerous and one must never go outside. Nevertheless that is exactly what the girls crave; to see, to live, to know what is out there but they’re absolutely not prepared and have no idea what to expect. They live in constant fear and frustration mixed with desire.
