The Hole Truth

  • Nick Berreen

A newly formed initiative, trying to raise awareness to the fact that greasy pizza boxes aren't recyclable! From the creative minds of two boys who love pizza and the world, The Hole Truth is an awareness campaign and pizza box art exhibition, with the aim to change the way we think about the sustainability of pizza delivery.

A moduar pizza box art exhibition, raising awareness that greasy pizza boxes aren't recyclable!
A pizza box with a perforated hole.

The concept is simple:

  • You eat the pizza.
  • Punch out the greasy disc.
  • Recycle the unsoiled cardboard.
  • Discard the disc how you want (use it as a frisbee, toilet paper or put it in the compost bin!)

Pushing for a petition to make pizza companies make this fact known on all of their future packaging!
Helping us move towards a more sustainable, less greasy future of pizza delivery.
Our exhibition was held at our degree show at Ravensbourne University London. The pizza boxes showcased a variety of artists/illustrators who visualised how much they love pizza!
The next step in our journey is to continue with getting our message out there, with a keen interest in collaborating with more artists, and independent pizza companies!
Keep your eyes peeled for the near future!
